Luisa & Claudio
We both love travelling and we've been active in the Couchsurfing community for many years. Hosting guests is our way of staying connected to the world—we enjoy creating a warm, authentic, and welcoming space shaped by the experiences we've had along the way.

We live in Rome, though Luisa is originally from Naples and Claudio from Buenos Aires.
Luisa works as a university professor and had the opportunity to do research in the U.S. on a Fulbright scholarship, focusing on sustainability and tech innovation. Claudio is a biologist and has spent years working on environmental projects across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
We hope to make your stay in Rome truly special and that our guesthouse feels not just comfortable, but like a little home away from home.
The word Crimson finds its roots in the Sanskrit kr̥mija ( कृमिज ) and represents a radiant shade of red, veering towards purple: the colour of power, symbolising the Roman Empire and the Church, two great institutions that have left an indelible mark on the Eternal City.
Staying at our Guest House means immersing yourself in the most authentic and sophisticated side of Rome, in one of its most exclusive districts: Parioli.
